Hannae’s Factory Introduction

Hannae will open its first factory in the second half of 2019

 

Dangjin Complex

Hannae began construction of its first factory in the Seongmun National Industrial Complex in Dangjin, South Chungchung Province, and is in preparation for mass production. With a land area of 2.1 acres / 2,568 pyung, Hannae’s factory can process waste catalysts from 3,000 to 6,000 tons. It will begin full-scale production from 2020 after test production in the second half of 2019.

Expansion Plans

Hannae plans to gradually increase its production lines to process waste catalysts to resources that also arise from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and China. According, after mass domestic production, Hannae will progressively expand its business into Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Australia in order to expand production facilities.

Basis for Expansion

In general, 10 thousand tons of waste catalysts can be recycled to recover USD 17 Million / KRW 20 billion worth of resources every year.
In the global markets, 444,285 tons arise, which is 35 times more than what can be found in Korea. Furthermore, as environmental regulations are heightened in each country, the use of waste catalysts is expected to increase accordingly.
